The Ministry of Local Government and Housing Sarawak has initiated to improve community participation in the fight against COVID-19 in the State. This COVID-19 Hotline number 0162391111 has been introduced to coordinate the enforcement teams on the ground, especially in ensuring compliance to the various SOPs already put in place by the State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC). The number cab be used by the public to convey information regarding serious breach of SOP. This information will be forwarded to the enforcement teams under the Divisional Disaster Management Committee (DDMC) or Local Authorities. With this SMART community approach, enforcement efforts will be more coordinated and focused, to break the COVID-19 infection chain.
